Syndicate Membership
Syndicate Membership
The main attraction of these lakes that appeals to most of our members is the generous stock of large carp and catfish.
Being a syndicate member allows members to fish an unlimited number of times, both day and night all year round. We have sensible rules and safety measures in place to ensure all of our anglers enjoy their fishing whilst ensuring safety and protecting our fish stock. Each member will receive a copy of our rules and safety measures on joining. Anyone seen or found to be breaking any of the fishery rules will automatically have their membership revoked.
Our Membership runs from 1st April to 15th March each year allowing the last couple of weeks for dedicated time for maintenance.
Membership fees for the 2024-2025 season are £300.00.
We accept numerous methods of payment and these are detailed within the application/renewal forms that we will distribute around March/April time.
We offer all existing members the opportunity to renew their membership for the following season before opening it up to new members. Membership numbers are tailored to ensure that both of our lakes are never overly busy, but equally never empty.
Memberships for the 2024-2025 season are now OPEN.
The syndicate offers excellent value for money and is extremely popular.
Junior Anglers - Get in on the action
At Messingham Sands Fishery we are keen to promote junior anglers. We allow all members sons/daughters (between the ages of 10 and 15) to fish free of charge when in the company of the parent member. This is limited to one child per parent member and details must be provided within the membership application/renewal. Any junior angler may fish with one rod from the same peg as the parent member.
Applications - What you will need
As part of all membership applications/renewals we require some of your personal information (address, email, telephone number etc.). This information will be detailed within the application/renewal forms. Please be assured that your personal data will be stored safely, and we will obtain your consent to do this as part of your membership application/renewal.
Further Information - Get in touch
If you require any further information on our syndicate membership, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us and we will be happy to help. Our contact details can be seen on our Contact Us page.

We do hold a waiting list for new members and your details can be left at the fishery office to be added to our waiting list. The waiting list is transparent and as places become available, we will offer invitations via email, to those on the waiting list in the exact order that they were added.
